Repton School signs with SOCS TV, powered by Joymo, to launch Repton.TV

Repton School has signed with SOCS TV, powered by Joymo, to power Repton.TV, its dedicated school streaming platform for live and on-demand coverage of co-curricular and extra-curricular life across the School.

The partnership will support Repton in securely capturing, managing and sharing a wide range of school activity — including sport, performances, events, lectures, ceremonies, pupil showcases, and other key moments in school life — with parents, families, alumni and the wider Repton community through a professional, school-branded platform.

Repton.TV will provide the School with a secure digital home for content that reflects the full breadth of the Repton experience. By bringing streaming and video publishing into a platform designed specifically for schools, Repton will be able to share more of what makes school life distinctive, while maintaining the standards of safeguarding, consent, control and quality expected in an education setting.

Gareth James, Director of Sport and Assistant Head Co-Curricular, said:
Repton has always placed enormous value on the breadth of opportunity available beyond the classroom, and we are delighted to be launching Repton.TV. This platform will allow parents, families and the wider Repton community to feel even more connected to school life, wherever they are in the world.

This development will celebrate the remarkable participation and achievements of our pupils across the co-curriculum. Importantly, it enables us to share these moments in a way that reflects the high standards and strong sense of community that sit at the heart of a Repton education”

Built for school life: control, safeguarding and quality

SOCS TV, powered by Joymo, is designed specifically for schools. It enables institutions to livestream and publish on-demand content on a dedicated, school-branded platform, while retaining control over access, permissions, content ownership and data.

For Repton, that means the ability to create a trusted digital destination for school life beyond the classroom — one that can support everything from concerts, drama productions and speaker events to prizegivings, house activity, pupil-led content and selected sports coverage, all within a framework built for education.

James Kershaw Naylor, Director, Commercial & Product, SOCS, said:
“Schools create an enormous amount of meaningful activity beyond the classroom, but too often there has not been a platform built specifically to showcase it in the right way. SOCS TV gives schools like Repton a secure, school-controlled way to share the richness of their co-curricular life with families and communities, while keeping governance and safeguarding at the centre.”

Marius Larsen, COO/CFO of Joymo, said:
“Repton has a strong identity, a vibrant school community and a co-curricular programme that deserves to be seen and celebrated in a way that matches the standards of the School itself. Through SOCS TV, powered by Joymo, Repton can continue building a trusted digital home for live and on-demand content across school life — not just for sport, but for the wider moments, achievements and experiences that define a school community. We are proud to support Repton with a platform built around ownership, governance and quality by design.”
