The exclusive partnership sees FilmMyMatch become Joymo’s preferred video production service for all new and existing clients in the UK. In a reciprocal agreement, Joymo becomes the preferred content distribution platform of FilmMyMatch, the leading provider of grassroots filming and analysis services for amateur sport in the UK.
Under the terms of the deal, Joymo will provide live streaming and its market-leading video management platform to co-opted partners, with FilmMyMatch responsible for delivering their remote video production services and connecting their content partners to Joymo’s direct-to-consumer OTT media platform.
Commenting on the partnership, Mike Emery, CEO for Joymo, said: “There is a huge desire to live stream sport at all levels of the pyramid and, jointly, Joymo and FilmMyMatch are committed to removing barriers and allowing more sports to share and monetise their valuable content. This coalition brings together two specialists in the live streaming and content production space to offer a full-cycle package for governing bodies, leagues, sports clubs and athletes across the UK.
“FilmMyMatch has developed filming services that are easy to use and cost-effective, matching the quality and simplicity of the Joymo OTT streaming platform. It’s never been easier to stream your sport and start engaging more people with your club, league or competition.”
Discussing the arrangement, David Roe, Director at FilmMyMatch, commented: “We are delighted to be working with Joymo in a partnership that extends the benefits of the FilmMyMatch service for sport at all levels. Joymo has developed a first-class OTT streaming platform that will enable our new and existing clients to broadcast and monetise the high-quality content that we capture for them.
